Visiting the Pacific Northwest is an experience that will take your breath away.
We started our journey in Portland and made our way to Mount Hood and around the Fruit Loop, a 35-mile drive through fruit orchards, small towns and backroads of the Hood River Valley. I finally was able to visit the amazing Multnomah Falls, Oregon's highest waterfall.
From Portland, we made our way along the Oregon coastline, stopping in Cannon Beach, Astoria (Oregon's oldest town), walked along Deception Pass, and then on our way to Seattle and enjoyed the city visiting the Space Needle and cruising the waterways.
We took the ferry over to Friday Harbor, an island that is part of the San Juan Islands, then ferried over to Victoria, where we visited Butchart Gardens. We ended our journey in Vancouver, BC touring the sites of the city and driving up to Whistler's. It was one of the best trips we have experienced.
